Invert Mouse not functioning

Joined a game with "Invert Mouse" checked and mouse up looked up. I unchecked it and then mouse up looked down.

After respawning, the invert mouse checkbox didn't work anymore checked or not, and mouse up looked up, which was unfortunately opposite of what I wanted.
